WHAT IS BREAST LIFT SURGERY?

Breast Lift Service

A breast lift, which is also known as a mastopexy, is a cosmetic procedure that is designed to rejuvenate aging, sagging breasts by giving them a more youthful look. Breasts can start sagging (a medical condition known as breast ptosis) due to weight loss, genetics, pregnancies, or the process of aging. However, during a breast lift surgery, a plastic surgeon can tighten and lift breast tissue to restore youthful projections and contours of the chest.

At the Gentera Center for Plastic Surgery, we specialize in the highest type of breast lift incisions known as the anchor lift or inverted T-lift incision. During this process, up to three incisions are made to help place the breasts on a higher position on the chest. On top of this, areolas and nipples that sag or point downward due to your breast ptosis are also repositioned for a more aesthetic look. Areolas that are excessively large can also be reduced in size during this step. It should be also noted while breast lifts are often performed by themselves, they can be done in conjunction with breast augmentation or reduction procedures as well.

Do you happen to in the market for the best possible breast lift? If that is the case, please contact the Gentera as soon as you feel ready.
